New Promotional Video

After I saw Marcus Bell's promotional Video slide show at Imaging U.S.A. last month, I vowed to make one of my own. This is just a first draft, but I think it's close.

Here's a two fer for you. My photographer friend Anne Ruthmann posted a great tip on her blog this morning, so being the lazy type that I am, I will send you to her blog, That way I can call it a blog recommendation, AND a really cool Mac tip. Did you know that you can make your computer READ to you? I didn't. Now I won't be able to shut it up!

I Love my job!

I love to please my clients! I am really humbled to have found a job where I make so many new friends, am invited into their families for a brief moment, to share the most important day of their lives. All the while, doing what I love the best, making great images of them that they will want to share for years. I thought I would just share this recent e mail from one of our proud clients from late last year.

I cannot say enough about what you accomplished for Jayme and I at our wedding! The engagement session was the most fun and you captured the most amazing photos of our family and friends and all just as we hoped for, fun, peaceful and energetic all at the same time. I mean you laid on the ground at 9pm in November for the moon shot? Amazing!!! I feel as if my experience with you both will benefit Jayme and I for a lifetime, not only because of the beautiful pictures but because we gained two wonderful christian friends along the way. Your passion for your art inspires me. Bravo my friend.

2009 Seniors!

We are now accepting applications for our senior reps for 2009!
Our reps get a free portrait session, ( a $200 value), all our favorite images from the session at web resolution for e mail or your MySpace page, promotional cards for you to hand out to absoloutley everyone you know, and crazy incentives based on the number of new clients you bring in. Everything from I Tunes gift cards to iPods to play your music on! Give us a call soon, these spots won't last! We only accept one rep from each school.

Man oh man, I love to cruise blogs! There are so many awesome blogs out there to read, learn from and just admire, but I have a short list of favorites. I will try to post a new favorite at least once a week, more if I can, but here's a great start. Shorpy the 100 year old Photo Blog. They collect old photos from their members and post a ton of images every week. You can do some serious blog browsing here.

New Project..

We have decided to throw the switch on Jeff East Photography DESIGN. This is a new section of our website that will be the place to get great resources for Photographers and designers. We will also post tips, tutorials,contests, free stuff and maybe some video tutorials as well. We are really excited to be launching a whole new aspect of our business that we hope will give something back to the community of professionals who as helped us so much!!
